hi, i'm
I’m passionate about nutrition, science, and the power of food.

What I do:

  • I help educate and empower people to lead more delicious and nourishing lives by offering in-home private and group cooking classes.
  • I offer private chef services for small events and dinner parties
  • I write about the things I love to educate, empower, and spread the joy of food.

i don't believe in diets— Food should be fun!

my philosophy

My nutrition philosophy is all about keeping things fun and simple. I utilize a client-focused, individualized approach to tackling any nutrition goal. With a strong background in behavioral sciences and medical nutrition therapy, I have helped many clients improve their nutrition status and reach their goals.

All food is good food. All foods fit in a balanced diet. After years of schooling I have come to realize our relationship with food is way more valuable than any one food or ingredient. Food is meant to be enjoyed, it’s mean to bring people together, and most importantly, there is no one-size-fits-all.

how i got here

cooking with my mom as a kid

Family dinners were a central part of the daily routine. From a young age food was important – it was a sign of love, connection, celebration, and creativity.

started noticing food's impact

As a teenager I still loved to cook, but I also spent most of my non-school hours in dance classes. I became fascinated with how food impacted performance and this sparked my interest in the science behind food.

decided to study it

At 18 years old I decided to study nutrition and embarked on my journey to become a Registered Dietitian. I spent my summers working on an organic farm in Amagansett, New York.

worked at a health startup

I worked as a manager at The Squeezery, a health-focused startup in the Hamptons and in Austin, Texas. I was involved in recipe testing and development and oversaw front of house operations.

the dietitian chapter

Between 2018-2022 I worked in various roles as a dietitian - New York Nutrition Group, Elitra Health, Lenox Hill Hospital, BALANCE Eating Disorder Treatment Center. Throughout these experiences I continued to cook and write for different publications.

all things food

I now balance my time between my role as a cook at Family Meal at Blue Hill, teaching cooking classes, and seeing private clients.
